I hope you're right. I've seen quite a few stories on online forums where twins were missed until 16-20 weeks after vaginal only ultrasounds. I think it's harder to miss with the external wand, but the vaginal ultrasounds don't have the same range of motion. I had a sac which never developed into a second baby.
